Beginner/Intermediate Brewing Classes.
Classes are held randomly throughout the year. Come watch
us cook up a batch of beer. The class goes over the basic ingredients of malt, hops and
yeast and how each influences your beer. Other topics that are covered include steeping
grains, sanitation, bottling, siphoning and using the hydrometer.
Advanced
Brewing/All-Grain Class
See All-Grain brewing in action. This class covers the
basics of all-grain brewing using an insulated cooler system. Over the four hour class you
will learn how to select your grain, crack it, mash, sparge, and chill your work
effectively. The cost is $20 and includes a certificate for your first 10 pounds of grain.
Sign up sheets are in both stores, so please come in and visit either store and register
in advance.
