This system is used to make 5 gallons of all-grain beer by the single step infusion mash method. The system consists of a combination mash/lauter tun and a hot liquor tank which are both plastic insulated water coolers designed for hot applications. They are valved with plastic ball valves. The mash/lauter tun is fitted with a slotted copper manifold which may be removed for cleaning. The hot liquor tank runs to a self-propelled sparge sprinkler which delivers a fine spray of sparge water over the grain bed. Since your boil kettle is not being used to hold your mash or your sparge water, it is free to heat water and receive the wort runoff during sparge. This set does not include a brew kettle, or thermometers.
